They're great fun! We aim to put on regular club nights where we have an evenings entertainment. Anything from a murder mystery, to a short experimental play or a professional band and some music. All members are welcome to these evenings - they are for you after all.
Most are FREE *. For those people who aren't members yet, they're also a good opportunity for new and potential members to meet other people around the theatre, in the areas that they are interested in. For current members, they provide an opportunity to catch up with friends whom you haven't seen recently. What more could you ask for?
* Some events are ticketed events.
Monday 26 March 2018. WINE TASTING. Organised by Sue Brooks with the help of ND Johns.
Local wine merchants N.D. John will be bringing eight wines to the theatre - three reds, three whites, a rosé and a sparkling wine - as well as nibbles that complement the wines and refresh the palate.
This is an exciting opportunity to taste and score a variety of wines and have your say on what we stock behind the bar. The evening will include a brief presentation on the backgrounds of the wines, and everyone will be given a tasting score card to make notes before you cast your vote.
Because this event is a unique occasion, there will be a small charge of £5 per head to cover additional costs. Booking tickets in advance is necessary to give numbers to ND John LTD. We want a big turnout so please invite your friends - this event is open to other groups our members may be involved with.
DATES FOR YOUR DIARY. Auditions for 'The Rince Cycle' - Sunday 29 April at 3.00pm, Tuesday 1 and Thursday 3 May at 7.30pm.
